How a story moves
Every story passes five gates.
- 01Production Pitch
Story, audience, crew, location, equipment, and backup plan.
- 02Ready to Contact
The request is approved before anyone is contacted.
- 03Ready to Film
The exact plan, permissions, training, and equipment are ready.
- 04Ready to Review
The complete edit and record are ready for feedback.
- 05Ready to Release
Corrections are complete and publication is approved.
Roles may rotate
Every crew member owns a result.
- Showrunner / Producer
- Keeps the plan current and coordinates the crew.
- Camera
- Records usable, well-managed picture.
- Audio / Interviewer
- Records usable sound and asks prepared questions.
- On-Air Talent
- Communicates clearly and accurately.
- Editor

Each student is graded on their own role and evidence.
Checkout is part of the workflow

- Check every item during preflight.
- Record the checkout.

- Return every item.
- Report damage, missing items, or uncertainty.

- 02School Drive in Chrome
- 03Google Drive for desktop

Your first creative introduction
Show what you bring to a crew.
- A school story or moment you notice
- A way you like to contribute to a group
- A creative or technical skill you already use
- A production role you might want to try
- Something you want OPA TV to help people understand
Use words, colors, icons, patterns, or symbols. Do not include private information. You may keep it private or share one chosen part. Artistic skill is not being graded, and this does not assign your permanent role.
What begins first
We begin with one practice production.
- 01Study one finished OPA TV segment.
- 02Practice crew roles and on-location conduct.
- 03Learn the camera kit, sound, files, and return process.
- 04Prepare interview questions and a filming request.
- 05Move one small story through the complete workflow.
If computers are not ready, we can analyze a segment, rehearse roles, study a kit without checkout, and build a paper Production Pitch.
