The name must be school-appropriate, easy to say, and clear in the credits.

Roles will rotate, but everyone needs a place to begin.
- 03Write one agreement.
Name one thing your crew will do so people can depend on you.
Past episode analysis
Watch twice for two reasons.
Who is this for? What should viewers know or feel? What holds the segment together?
Notice specific camera, sound, interview, graphics, and editing choices.

A segment is built from choices.
Shows where we are.
Introduces the main voice.
Shows what the person describes.
Leaves the audience with the point.
Voice stays clear. Music lowers during the interview. Natural sound helps the location feel real.
Watch for the reason: What does each choice help the audience understand?
Strong analysis
Name the choice and its effect.
“The sound was good.”
We cannot tell what happened or why it worked.
“The music became quieter during the interview, so every answer was easy to hear.”
This names a choice and explains its effect on the audience.
Worked example
Keep / Change / Add
Open with a wide shot so viewers know where the story happens.
Move the interview away from the loud hallway.
Show close-up B-roll of the activity being discussed.
Each answer must point to something your crew actually saw or heard.
Crew viewing job
Give every crew member a lens.
Track the beginning, main point, and ending.
Notice shot size, framing, movement, and B-roll.
Listen for voice clarity, music, and background noise.
Notice pacing, graphics, transitions, and what was left out.
After the second viewing, share your evidence and agree on one Keep, one Change, and one Add.
